The RF5000 online microwave moisture meter is a product independently developed by our company, which can be used for continuous online measurement of the moisture content of materials. It is suitable for online moisture content measurement of materials in industries such as sintered materials, minerals, foundry sand, boards, recycled plastic bricks, recycled rubber and plastic materials, waste paper, nuts, and grains and feed.
The conventional method for measuring moisture content in materials is the oven method, which has the disadvantage of requiring a considerable amount of operation time and provides severely delayed information. Therefore, this method cannot be applied on the production line and can only be used in laboratories. The RF5000 continuous microwave moisture meter, however, can quickly and continuously measure moisture on belts or production lines, achieving online dynamic real-time detection with fast response time, thus enabling real-time control of product moisture content.
Structure and Principle
The online microwave analyzer has two modules: a transmitting module and a receiving module. The microwave transmitting module emits microwave signals through the material to the microwave receiving module. The microwave energy is emitted by the microwave transmitter and the remaining microwave energy is received by the microwave receiver after passing through the material. By measuring the attenuation of the microwave energy and changes in phase, calculating the total loss of microwave energy, and combining it with data models and special algorithms, the moisture content of the tested medium can be determined.
